Cozy Couples Session with Tiffany & Matt
So Tiffany and I went to the same elementary school. This was my first time meeting Matt (Tiffany’s husband!).
I photographed them for a cozy themed couples session in May 2024. The vibe was: low-key, casual, cozy. What better way to portray that then with matching sweaters and comfy blankets at the park? The weather was definitely not aligned with the vibe though. It was SO dang windy! North Dakota winds are no joke!
When photographing couples, I prefer to do a mix of both poses and prompts! For this session, I asked Tiff and Matt to first sit on a blanket and snuggle together. We swapped the poses a few times and I also gave them a few prompts. I think these four are probably my top 4 faves!
Okay so this MIGHT be my favorite image from this session. Mostly because I love photographing hands. But also I really really just like the visual simplicity in this photo and how it shows Tiffany’s and Matt’s connection!
During this session, I had the privilege to learn more about how Tiffany and Matt met. They met at their old job and Matt made the first move! Tiffany uses the words “Genuine, Compassionate, Unique” to describe Matt. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to capture their love ♥
